What is Screenshot Analysis?
Screenshot Analysis lets you capture your n8n canvas and send it to the AI for visual context. The AI can see your workflow layout, node connections, error messages, and configuration panels.
How to Use It
- Open your n8n workflow
- Open the N8N Insider panel
- Click the camera/screenshot button
- The current view is captured and attached to your next message
- Type your question and send
When to Use Screenshots
- Debugging visual errors or red node indicators
- Asking about specific parts of your workflow
- When text description isn't enough
- Showing error messages in the UI
- Getting help with complex node configurations

Supported AI Models
Screenshot analysis requires a vision-capable AI model:
- Claude 3.5 Sonnet (recommended)
- GPT-4o / GPT-4 Vision
- Claude 3 Opus
- Gemini Pro Vision
Privacy Note
Screenshots are sent to the AI provider (via OpenRouter) for analysis. They are not stored permanently. Avoid capturing sensitive data if privacy is a concern.
